23" (52 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with richly-shaped lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117 52. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, their model marketed as "Mein Liebling" (my sweetheart), circa 1912. Value Points: very choice example of the beloved child doll, with finest soft patina of delicate complexion, rarer brown eyes, original wig, body and body finish, lovely antique costume including gilt pin "Darling".
