Description
7 1/2" (19 cm.) Painted bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, composition toddler body jointed at shoulders and hips, modeled bent right elbow. Condition: generally excellent, few typical paint flakes under wig. Marks: Just Me Registered Germany A 310/1/0 M. Comments: Marseille, circa 1930, the doll was presented as the first "Ginny" by the Vogue firm. Value Points: the doll is preserved, unplayed with, in its original box with label "Vogue Doll Shoppe", and is wearing original costume with embroidery at the bodice.
