4" (10 cm.) One-piece bisque head and torso, sculpted short blonde curly hair, painted googly eyes glancing downward and sideways, painted upper lashes, single stroke brows, button-shaped nose, tiny "O"-shaped closed mouth, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: September Morning Germany (paper label front torso) Patented Design (back torso). Comments: made in Germany, circa 1915, based on the original drawings by Grace Drayton which depicted a little child shivering as she steps into a cold pond of water. Value Points: very rare doll in superb condition, with rare original paper labels.
