11" (28 cm.) Bisque swivel head with very plump face, on kid-edged bisque torso with defined torso shape and navel, blue glass eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, shaded eyelids, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, cupped hands, well-defined dimpled knees, painted white socks with blue rims, unusual painted blue boots with black tips and heels. Condition: generally excellent, an original 1/3" firing line at side crown rim. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: rare large size and exceptional detail of modeling, unusual painted boots.
