Description
12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, fringed lashes, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips, brunette mohair braided wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 114 30. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912. Value Points: the rare glass-eyed variation of "Gretchen" from the firm's art character series has lovely bisque, original wig, body and body finish.
