The child's wooden hand-carved sleigh of sturdy design with curved handle and fretwork carving trim has single seat, and original painted finish throughout. The painted finish is heightened by fine hand-painted designs incorporating both scenes and persons. Excellent condition. Northern Europe, a very rare and superbly preserved historical object, early 1800s.
