Bisque socket head, large brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eye cut, dark painted lashes, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, auburn mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume including cutwork and embroidered dress, undergarments, shoes, stockings. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Simon & Halbig dep Germany 16 1/2 1079. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: grand child doll with fine detail of sculpted features, deeply impressed chin dimple, original wig, body, body finish, lovely antique costume.
