Description
5.7" (14 cm.) Waist-up porcelain lady in the 18th century manner with elaborately-arranged brown hair decorated with two fancy plumes, wearing burgundy blouse with ruffled collar and cuffs, her arms modeled away from her body, a hair pick held in her right hand with which she adjusts her coiffure, and a mirror held in her left hand into which she is gazing for self-approval. Marks: (blue crown stamp). Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1915, Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrick.
