18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, blue painted eyes, black upper eyeliner, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth in downcast pouting expression, center accent line on lips, brunette mohair wig with coiled side braids, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish albeit with some rubs to finish. Marks: K*R 114 46. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, the model marketed as "Gretchen". Value Points: dear entreating expression of realistically-sculpted wistful child.
