17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue painted eyes with white eye dots, red and black upper eyeliner, lightly painted upper lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 187. Comments: Kestner, circa 1910. Value Points: very endearing expression on the rare-to-find painted eye art character with excellent bisque and painting.
