Description
13" (33 cm.) h. x 12" x 12" glass dome. Arranged on an ebony wooden base under blown glass dome is a gilt ormolu framed velvet tufted cushion on which is arranged a coronet and bouquet of bridal wax orange blossoms; the gilt design including four beveled mirrors and various symbolic flowers, and resting upon a wide silk swirled ribbon with embroidered detailing. Standing alongside is a 7" bisque head doll with blue glass eyes, composition body, wearing antique bridal costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Halbig (doll). Comments: French, late 1800s. Value Points: beautiful doll presentation is well preserved.
