Description
21" (53 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with painted blonde boyish hair, painted pale blue eyes with intaglio detail, modeled upper eyelids, red and black upper eyeliner, accented nostrils and eye corner, brushstroked brows, closed mouth with prominent modeled space between the shaded and outlined lips, deeply sculpted dimples, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing and very chubby torso, well costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K&H (in banner) 548 15 Germany. Comments: Kley and Hahn, circa 1912. Value Points: superb quality of modeling complemented by original well-detailed very chubby body.
