13" (33 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes with darker iris rims and spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, all-wooden fully-articulated body with dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles, and with ball-swivel waist. Condition: generally excellent, head and body of same era but not original to each other. Marks: 2. Comments: French, circa 1870, rare deposed wooden body by Leon Casimir Bru. Value Points: charming petite size, excellent bisque, rare body, lovely costume is included.
