Description
28" (71 cm.) Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, blue glass spiral threaded eyes with darker blue outer rims, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with row of painted teeth between the accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: 137. Comments: Sonneberg, maker unknown, circa 1882. Value Points: beautiful child doll in the French look-alike manner has lovely painting and bisque.
