Description
5" (13 cm.) One-piece carved monkey, posed seated on ground knoll, its right arm outstretched, with carved mane of hair encircling the face; along with a wooden cage with sliding door and top, interior feeding trough, in which are captured two exotic birds. Excellent condition. Early 1800s.
