14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, rose blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, original Jumeau chemise. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (artist checkmarks at back of head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1890. Value Points: very endearing expression with large eyes and fine creamy bisque, original wig, body and body finish.
