Description
14" (36 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, lightly-feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, accent line between the lips, pierced ears, auburn mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, nicely costumed. Condition: bisque excellent, body is original albeit finish darkened. Marks: 1. Comments: Gaultier, circa 1875. Value Points: petite size 1, lovely eyes and eye decoration.
