12" (30 cm.) All wooden articulated bodies, socket heads. "Annie & Sandy," Annie is all maple wood, brown painted eyes, curly bright red mohair wig, wearing a red dress with white collar and trim, white socks, black side-buckle shoes. Along with Sandy, carved and painted solid maple wood. "Sophie" has light green painted eyes, long red mohair wig styled with bangs, wearing the "Catching Butterflies" outfit by Xenis, white top with puffed sleeves, yellow and white pinafore, white socks, yellow slip-on shoes. One doll with painted green side-glancing eyes, red mohair wig bobbed with bangs, wearing a plaid dress with burgundy ruffle trim, black stockings, red tie-front shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: "Xenis, 2022, No. 6/20" (back - Annie), "RA" (head - Sophie), "Xenis" (dress - Sophie), and "Xenis, 2018, No. 29/56" (back - unnamed doll). Comments: Xenis, c.2018-22, Canadian artist Marlene Xenis working with her two daughters. Value Points: Annie includes original tag, incredibly detailed carving, crisp outfits, charming painted facial features.
