Description
19.5" (50 cm.) Wax shoulderhead and lower limbs, cloth body, blue eyes, long straight blonde hair with bangs, wearing a brown cotton dress with lace trim at the sleeves and collar, white cotton pinafore with ruffled sleeves, white socks, black shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: "Glover" (front of doll). Comments: Margaret Glover, 1975, British artist with pieces in the Victoria and Albert Museum, known for her poured wax dolls. Value Points: doll is signed by the artist on the front, demure facial features with pale blue eyes, crisp cotton costume.
