Wax, white hair, wearing a white collared shirt, brown vest, green corduroy trousers, glasses, striped socks, brown shoes, holding a miniature carving knife and a small wooden doll, sitting on a wooden stool. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: "Arlyn Coad, 1993, Toymaker, 2nd Ed. 4/8" (original tag on the base of the stool). Comments: Arlyn Coad, 1993, No. 4/8, prolific British-born Canadian-based artist specializing in minatures and puppets, former NIADA member. Value Points: includes original NIADA certification sticker tag on the base of the stool, only 8 pieces made in the second edition. Ex-collection Rosalie Whyel Museum of Doll Art.
