Description
14.5" (37 cm.) Molded wood putty shoulderplate, stuffed cloth bodies with wired legs, brown painted eyes. One with molded wood putty hands and wired arms, dark brown long hair with beard and mustache, wearing a brown patterned shirt, faded blue flared jeans with patches, tan leather headband, silver peace sign necklace, tan shoes, carrying an olive green knapsack and a brown bedroll with small silver shovel and small silver spoon attached. One with molded wood putty lower arms, wearing a multicolored plaid shirt, white undershirt, brown pants with a brown leather folder and a red handkerchief in either back pocket, brown leather belt, red knit hat, brown leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent, brown wig shows some wear. Marks: "1974, ABO Original" (back - doll with plaid shirt) and "Original Doll, 1971, Ada Bridgman Odenrider" (tag on knapsack). Comments: Ada Odenrider, 1971-74, early NIADA member. Value Points: unique accessories, variety of textiles and textures. Ex-collection Rosalie Museum of Doll Art.
