10" (25 cm.) Bisque socket head with sculpted baby bonnet having pressed details to suggest embroidery, blonde forelock curl, intaglio blue painted side-glancing eyes, one-stroke brows, closed mouth, impressed cheek dimples, composition baby body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, one finger tip chipped. Marks: 2 7859 Heubach (in square) Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: rare bonnet model with wonderfully detailed bisque bonnet, his original shoes bear the label of the famous early 1900s toy store of Franz Carl Weber of Zurich from which he was sold.
