Pink-tinted bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips, accent line between the lips, brunette mohair wig in side-coiled braids, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume comprising cotton dress, undergarments, knit stockings, red kidskin shoes. Condition: generally excellent, original body finish. Marks: 8420 6 Heubach (square mark) Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1915, the model was made with either open or closed mouth, this closed mouth version being much rarer. Value Points: wistful expression is artfully achieved on the rare glass-eyed character.
