Description
20" (51 cm.) Hard plastic socket head, lady-shaped torso and legs with jointing at knees, vinyl arms, blue sleep eyes, lashes, painted lashes, closed mouth with full red lips, blonde hair captured inside head-dress except straight bangs. Wearing elaborate stiffened blue and silver sequin butterfly costume with multi-tiered wings, highlighted by an extravagant head-dress with petal-shaped back, rhinestone-studded stockings, and blue sling heels, earrings. Excellent condition, some fading to bodice, facial complexion is near mint with beautiful painting, costume superb. The doll by Alexander, circa 1960, the costume designed and created in the couturier workshops of the Ice Capades as miniature representations of the actual costumes worn in the performances; it is believed that few of each costume were made.
