Description
19" (49 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted blue eyes with enhancing decorative glaze, thick black upper eyeliner, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full wistful-shaped lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, wig pulls at back of head, original body and body finish. Marks: K*R 114 49. Comments: the model "Gretchen" from Kammer and Reinhardt's art character series, 1909. Value Points: especially fine modeling and painting of features with enhancing glaze, original wig, body, body finish, and antique costume including parasol.
