Wearing tagged afternoon dress of taffeta with deep pleats and a floral accent of violets at the bodice, removable bolero jacket, pink can-can slip of taffeta and tulle with rose accent, pink taffeta panties trimmed with Val lace, seamed nylon hose with lavender shoes and matching felt insoles, rhinestone bracelet, earrings and ring with a pearl necklace, extravagant open cloche hat with violets and hat veiling with lavender velvet ribbon. Near mint. Alexander, model 2143, 1957, with original square Cissy wrist tag and original box. Exceptional infused coloring and pristine condition, the doll was described in the Alexander catalog with the exclamatory "Cissy loves to wear this beautiful costume for she knows how becoming it is."
