Description
14" (36 cm.) The wooden rocking chair has paper lithographed seat and back; the back being pivot arranged to allow alternate sides to be shown. One side has pillow design that matches the seat and the lettered phrase "Story Chair", while the alternate side depicts a young girl and the poem "Christmas Tree". Excellent condition, some slight darkening on paper. American, attributed to Bliss, circa 1890.
