Description
15" (38 cm.) overall. 6" to waist. Waist-up nude porcelain half-doll depicts Pierrette with clasped hands, black painted cap with three brown spit curls having modeling detail, dramatic eye painting, high cheek blush, attached to original (sealed) cardboard candy box covered with black silk fringed skirt. Excellent condition. Germany, for the French market, circa 1920. Rare large size with exceptional painting.
