Description
10" (25 cm.) Composition head depicting a pug puppy, with sculpted ears and facial features, painted shaded brown fur with black side-glancing googly eyes, original firmly-stuffed brushed-wool body with jointed legs and stubby tail. Condition: generally excellent, few rubs on finish. Marks: "Puppy Pippin,Trademark copyright 1911 E.I. Horsman" (original cloth label). Comments: designed by Grace Drayton and produced by Horsman, circa 1911. Value Points: wonderfully sculpted face, original leather collar.
