Description
13" (33 cm.) x 9". The sculpted gesso over wooden frames with gold leaf finish enclose dimensional vignette scenes with fringed silk curtain drapes, architectural background, and fabric-costumed persons in foreground; in one is a king with crown and staff, and in the other an angelic figure with gold filament halo and silk wings. Excellent condition. Late 1700s.
