17" (43 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with voluptuously-modeled bosom, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig with braided details over cork pate, shapely kid torso cut to accommodate the bosom, kid upper arms, bisque arms to above the elbows with shapely fingers, outlined fingernails, modeled-bent left elbow, very shapely bisque legs from knees with bisque bare feet, holes in base of each heel for posing on stand, with antique lingerie. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Radiquet & Cordonnier, the "Poupee-Statuette" was deposed in 1880, the rare luxury model, made for a few years only, was designed to display theatrical costumes and high couture designs. Value Points: rare poupee with original body, sculpted bare feet, superb and unique body model.
