Stuart's Take
The Jumeau Series Fantastique was the final and most astounding range of dolls ever created by the great Emile Jumeau. While often shocking and verging on the surreal, this model, the final in the 200 series, was seemingly a tribute to the history of the Bebe and what Emile imagined before anyone else, the craving of character. It does so by presenting the serene and stoic look of the classic Bebe with the hint of whimsy which had been more pronounced in the previous 200 models.
For those who prefer the more idealized look of the Bebe, this doll has just that. For those who are passionate for what many believe was Emile Jumeau's greatest artistic moment in the Series Fantastique, this is a must.
