Description
16" (41 cm.) Each has poured wax shoulderhead, blue glass inset eyes, tinted brows and lips of closed mouth, blonde inserted hair, softly-stuffed cloth body with stitch-jointing, wax lower arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (original store label stamp of Henry Cremer of London, on torso). Comments: England, circa 1865. Value Points: the dolls are wearing their wonderful original costumes, one of blue chintz with handmade rick rack trim lavishly applied, and the other of blue chambray with short trousers and matching jacket.
