Description
24" (61 cm.) Bisque socket head, very plump cheeks, amber-brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 11 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or (body). Comments: French, mystery maker although the facial model closely resembles the Joanny bebe, circa 1885. Value Points: very lovely bebe with delicate complexion contrasting the rich brown eyes.
