Stuart's Take
For the collector of German character dolls the Kammer and Reinhardt 100 series defines not just a classic art sculpted range of dolls, but a defining moment in the entire history of the art of the doll. The 104 model is exactly the model that defines every aspect of this movement.
Only a few of this model exist in the world today. This particular example has a long history in being for decades in the private collection of Richard Wright prior to becoming a spotlight piece at the Rosalie Whyel Museum.
