Description
3" (8 cm.) and 4 1/2". Each is all wooden with one-piece head and torso, painted hair with tendrils of curls, (the girl with yellow tuck comb), painted facial features, jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, painted shoes. Condition: generally excellent, few rubs on finish of girl. Comments: Germany, circa 1840. Value Points: the well-preserved miniature dolls are wearing all original costumes, the young boy is especially detailed wearing large boutonniere and bi-corn hat.
