7" (18 cm.) h. chair. The wooden salon furnishings with ebony finish and embossed gilt metal edging are upholstered in original rose twill with patterned design and with fringed edging, comprising pedestal table, wide settee with arms, two arm chairs and two side chairs, and fernery with lush plantings. Excellent condition. French, circa 1875, a very luxurious set enhanced by details such as embossed gilt edging.
