22" (56 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead with pink tinted complexion, black sculpted hair with feathered detail of hair tendrils around the forehead, blue painted eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, right hand missing. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: the gentle man is wearing hand-sewn costume and is presented in trunk labeled "Samuel L. Post, Saddle, Cap, Harness and Trunk Manufacturer, New York", along with four additional hand-sewn costumes.
