14" (36 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with modeled bosom and shoulderblades, amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, brushstroked brows, rose blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils, open mouth, key-wind at back of head designed for nursing mechanism, kid bebe body with Chevrot hinged hips, kid-over wooden upper arms, wooden lower legs, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent, nursing mechanism not working. Marks: Bru Jne 3 (head and shoulders) Bebe Bru Bte SGDG (original label on chest). Comments: Bru, Chevrot epoch, circa 1885. Value Points: fine quality of bisque and painting, original body, perfect bisque hands, antique costume with original signed Bru Jne shoes.
