24" (61 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with modeled bosom and shoulderblades, amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, impressed dimples on philtrum and chin, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid bebe body with kid-over wooden upper arms, bisque forearms with individually sculpted fingers, Chevrot hinged hips, wooden lower legs. Condition: faint old hairline from right side crown rim to edge of brow (under wig). Marks: Bru Jne 9 (head and shoulderplate) (original Bru paper label on torso). Comments: Bru, Chevrot era, circa 1886. Value Points: lovely bebe with beautiful bisque and painting, original body in very fine condition, perfect bisque hands, lovely antique costume.
