Description
30" (76 cm.) Poured wax shoulderhead with honey toned complexion, black glass inset eyes, tinted brows, closed mouth, rounded nose, inserted blonde hair that tumbles onto shoulders, cloth softly stuffed body with stitch-jointing, leather arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: English, in the Pierotti manner, circa 1880. Value Points: the doll is wearing original costume, comprising embroidered fretwork edging and bodice, undergarments, leather shoes, and with rose silk cape and matching cap.
