Description
29" (74 cm.) h. x 25"w. x 14"d. The fine walnut open front room is elaborately carved with spindled double balconies and upper widow's walk, decorated overall with beaded edging and featuring a center carved gargoyle head, with faux windows at back. Excellent condition. American, circa 1895, the room was made about 1895 by Emile F. Tengler, a cabinet maker for his small daughter. Tengler had immigrated to American in 1893 from Stettin, Germany.
