Bisque socket head with rounded facial modeling, hazel paperweight glass eyes with dark iris rims, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, widely fringed brushstroked brows, mauve blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth with shaded lips, dimpled philtrum and chin, pierced ears, brunette human hair wig over Steiner pate, French composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bte SGDG Sie A 7 (incised) Bourgoin (red stamp) (caduceus stamp on body). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1885. Value Points: gorgeous large bebe with flawless bisque and painting especially enhancing the splendid deep paperweight eyes, original signed Steiner body with original finish, lovely antique costume of velvet and silk, woven fancy bonnet.
