Description
20" (51 cm.) Art-plaster sculpted head, blonde mohair curly wig, painted facial features, narrow brown side-glancing painted eyes in deeply set eye sockets, closed mouth, padded armature body, posable arms, posed on original wooden stand labeled with "Boy of 1885". Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Purchased J.H.Hoffheimer NY 1937 Traphagen School (original cloth label). Comments: Lilli Baitz, circa 1930. Value Points: wearing original black velvet Sunday best suit with matching cap, silk ruffled collar and cuffs, silk stockings, black one-strap shoes and carrying wooden toy horse. Included is original labeled leather travel case.
