24" (61 cm.) Art-plaster sculpted head, brunette mohair curly wig, painted facial features, brown side-glancing painted eyes in deeply set sockets, closed mouth with painted teeth and tongue, smiling expression, padded armature body, posable arms, posed on original wooden stand labeled "Boy of 1775". Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Purchased J.H.Hoffheimer NY 1937 Traphagen School (original cloth label). Comments: Lilli Baitz, circa 1930. Value Points: wearing original shirt with ruffled collar and wide sleeves, flannel slim pants with red buttons at waist, painted shoes with buckles, and holding silver horn. Included is original labeled leather travel case.
