Description
26" (66 cm.) Game board from "Grand Jeu du Bebe Jumeau" created by Emile Jumeau as a publicity object for the 1889 Universal Exposition in Paris; the game featured the friendship between France and America, and praised the French doll in preference to the inferior German dolls (players lost points in the game when they landed on German doll spots). Excellent condition, framed under glass, 1889, few original posters are extant.
