24" (61 cm.) Art-plaster sculpted head, brunette mohair curly wig, painted facial features, blue side-glancing painted eyes in deeply set sockets, closed mouth with very full lips, padded armature body, posable arms, posed on original wooden stand labeled with "Girl of 1810". Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Purchased J.H.Hoffheimer NY 1937 Traphagen School (original cloth label). Comments: Lilli Baitz, circa 1930. Value Points: wearing original Empire style silk dress with high waist, trimmed with blue ribbons and with blue necklace, holding wooden form with needlework. Included is original labeled leather travel case.
