Description
19" (48 cm.) Art-plaster sculpted head, dark brunette mohair curly wig and large hair bow, painted facial features, blue side-glancing painted eyes with decorative glaze, closed mouth with painted teeth between the slightly smiling lips, padded armature body, posable arms, posed on original wooden stand labeled with "Girl of 1920". Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Purchased J.H.Hoffheimer NY 1937 Traphagen School (original cloth label). Comments: Lilli Baitz, circa 1930. Value Points: wearing red cotton serge dress with white collar and cuffs, undergarments, socks, and with painted black and white saddle shoes and carrying tin beach pail and shovel. Included is original labeled leather travel case.
