Description
16" (41 cm.) One-piece carved wooden poupard with short brown hair carved with deep grooves and arranged curls, painted complexion over gesso, enamel eyes, tinted brows and upper lashes, slightly-parted lips, blushed cheeks with pressed dimples, sculpted ears. Condition: very good, split in wood at right side of head, few rubs on original painted finish. Comments: Germany, early 1800s.
