28" (71 cm.) Honey-toned thick poured wax-over-paper mache shoulderhead, blue glass inset eyes, tinted brows, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig with original curls, cloth stitch-jointed body, wax-over-paper mache lower arms and legs. Condition: face and body are excellent, knobbly shoulderplate. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: very dear expression, the bright-eyed child is wearing blue dress which matches her eyes, undergarments, and blue stone jewelry.
